For Your Child’s Evaluation

• What to bring:

  • Completed intake forms (inside your child’s online patient portal).

  • Any relevant medical or school reports

• What your child should wear: Comfortable play clothes (easy to move, climb, and stretch in).

• Arrival tips: Plan to arrive only 5 minutes early so your child can settle in and explore the space before starting. (Please no earlier than 5 minutes to minimize waiting room congestion with other families coming and going).

• Parking: Free parking is available right out front. Look for the sunshine logo on our door when you arrive!

For Ongoing Therapy Sessions

• Bring each visit:

  • A smile, the most important thing your child can bring!

  • Any home practice materials provided by your therapist

• Clothing: Dress your child in comfortable playwear each session.

• Stay connected: Parents are welcome to observe, wait in the waiting room, or receive coaching at the end.

• Consistency matters: Try to arrive on time. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back to make the most of every minute.

Attendance & Cancellation Policy

• Consistency is key: Children make the best progress with regular attendance. We encourage families to treat therapy like any other essential appointment and require an 85% attendance rate to keep your child’s weekly appointment time.

• Notice required: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid our cancellation or no-show fee.

• Late cancellations or missed sessions: Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee, as that time is reserved exclusively for your child.

• Emergencies/illness: We understand that unexpected situations happen. Please call us as soon as possible if your child is sick or an emergency arises.
